The Curator loves vivid art, as is clear from this art piece, the Dali “Temptation of Christ”, LeRoy Niaman’s “Golf’s Greated Legends”, and other vivid artworks in this museum. This serigraph continuously caught the eye of the Curator, and eventually compelled him to purchase it at the retail offering price.
Acquisition Story
The Curator walked by this art piece multiple times, and fell in love with it. He finally “gave in” and purchased the artwork. This serigraph has a COA on back, but is currently displayed on the Curator’s living room wall, and since he has no intention of selling this piece, visitors will need to “trust” that a COA exists.

The work is identified in the Museum record as LeRoy Neiman’s “April at Augusta,” dated 1990, and described as a limited-edition serigraph. The Museum should retain the reverse-mounted COA and inspect beneath the mat if future conservation work permits, to document any edition, publisher, printer, or additional signature information not presently visible.
