Louise Blaser Legacy Wing
Louise Blaser’s creativity helped inspire the museum. One of her mosaics won First Prize at the Texas State Fair; she won Dallas-area awards for Christmas displays and returned to college after raising three children to complete a master’s degree in art. Visitor Experience Visitors should encounter a welcoming introduction, featured works, clear navigation, optional deeper research, and transparent statements about confirmed and pending information. Wing Contents Self-Portrait Mosaics Marquetry and mixed media Family and figurative works Audio-Video Story Status: Planned. This wing is architected to support a short curator film, narration, transcript, captions, and poster image. Media files may be supplied later without redesigning the wing. Research and Provenance Priorities Expand artist biographies, acquisition stories, ownership histories, supporting documents, confidence levels, and links to individual MMRs as material becomes available. Planned Additions Additional works, research, and media will be added incrementally. Revision Notes Initial foundation record. Curator updates may be supplied as a revised wing MMR or as supporting delta documents.
