Masters Prints Wing

Works in this wing highlight the fine art tastes of the Curator including art by Salvador Dalí, Renoir, Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec, Chagall, Hoi Lebadang, Tarkay, and related masters. These works are presented with authentication, edition, provenance, and appraisal context. Visitor Experience Visitors should encounter an experience similar to entering the Louvre, Rijk’s Museum or Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg Florida. The visitor’s eyes should be drawn towards the surrealistic forms of Dali, and Cubism expressions of Picasso. Walking through the Toulouse-Lautrec artworks, the visitor will experience the Parisian environment from which this artist developed his famous works. The expressionist works of Vincent Van Gogh will compel the visitor to appreciate art forms developed across a variety of artistic styles, time-periods and locations. Featured works will provide clear navigation, optional deeper research, and transparent statements about inspiration for this addition, known content, gaps, and pending information. This wing is architected to support a short curator film, narration, transcript, captions, and poster image. Media files may be supplied later without redesigning the wing. Research and Provenance Priorities Expand artist biographies, acquisition stories, ownership histories, supporting documents, confidence levels, and links to individual MMRs as material becomes available.
